Layered Fairy Magic Card
It is easy to create a beautiful fairy card using a layering technique and the "Fairy Magic" stamp set.
I used a download from Calico Collage to start. I made three copies of it. The first I left the original size. I trimmed 1/2 inch off vertically and horizontally on the second image and 1 inch off the third.
I stamped the sentiment and fairy dust on the smallest image.
I then cut out a matte for each image 1/4 inch larger than the image.
I inked the edges with Rouge Surface ink.
I adhered the images to the mattes.
I layered the images from largest to smallest on a card font.
I used pop dots to adhere the fairy and finished her off with some glitter glue.
Layered cards are great because they can be mailed, yet are not "boring and flat".
