Let’s Eat Cake Card using Simple Blend

Hello Friends,

I am so happy to share with you the new Simple Blends Stencil Mask combo. I love the ease at which I can mask and then blend Surface Inks onto a card layer. No more need for masking paper and hoping that you have lined up the mask so the blended area is where you truly want it! The Simple Blend Stencil Mask comes in three different designs. (circle, square, oval) 

I started with the oval Simple Blend and blended Brutus Monroe Oz and Rock Candy to create my background. Surface Inks blend beautifully and create a crisp edge when using the Simple Blend Stencil. 

I stamped the Topsy Cake with Raven Detail Ink and colored it with Style File markers. (a wonderful deal at $3.50 each for alcohol markers) Cut out the cake and placed it on the blended oval using foam tape.

Stamped the sentiment using embossing powder in Alabaster. Added a boarder and a few sequins to finish the card.
