Love From Chicago Greeting Card
So excited to share the new Snow globe stamp - City Sidewalks - Chicago. The image was created by Chuck Carson and is a part of the Brutus Monroe stamp line.
Chuck was able to capture the true essence of Chicago inside the snow globe. Anyone that has visited or lived in Chicago should be able to tell that Chicago was well represented.
For this project I decided that I wanted to keep it simple to show off the design of the stamp. Using the hearts form the Beautiful Stamp set and Brutus Monroe embossing ink and Sterling embossing powder on a black piece of card stock for the back ground.
Then the City Sidewalks Stamp was inked with Brutus Monroe Detail ink - Raven and stamped on white card stock.. This was fussy cut and then raised with pop dots.
The phrase Sending love from was also stamped with the Brutus Monroe Detail ink - Raven and stamped on white card stock.. I then cut the end to look like an arrow.
On a recent trip I picked up a heart punch and knew this was the perfect time to use it in a project. Punching the heart out of a piece of red card stock gave this black and white card just a small pop of color.
Here is a video of the whole process.
I have a friend that lives in Chicago, I think I'll send a few of these cards to her so that she can then send them out to others. I may even send some to her mother so that she can write she is missing her daughter.
So even though you may not be from Chicago you can still enjoy this stamp set. Make sure you swing by the shop and get yours ordered.
