Love You
Hello there my friends. Shannon here to share a cute and easy valentine project. I love Valentines Day and was surprised when I realized how few valentine decorations I had. Well Brutus Monroe and Echo Park to the rescue! Definitely no shortage of valentine goodness there!
I cut my selected printed papers to fit my ATC cards (2 ½ x 3 ½) and adhered them with tissue tape.
I cut the letters on my electronic cutting machine from Not Your Mamas ( I used a heavy pressure setting). I used Simon Hurley Ink in Woof with a sponge to ink the edges of the letters. I attached them to the ATCs using foam squares.
I used my straight corner punch to make the two “o”s into tags. I also punched holes for ribbons. After pulling ribbon through the holes, I pulled the string around it and tied a bow.
I attached a 12 x 12 sheet of printed paper to the surface board using tissue tape.
At this point I laid all of my die cuts and letters out so that I could map everything (watch the video to see this process). I then was able to adhere to all the pieces where I wanted them.
Play around with your ephemera and see where it takes you. This was so much fun to create!
Shannon
