Merry Christmas Pointsettia Card
I know fall has just started, but when I received this Poinsettia Background Stencil with my order last week, I just had to play with it. I love Fall and Christmas and this Big Bloom makes for a fast and easy card.
I used my stick and stamp mat to hold my card stock and stencil to blend some Simon Hurley Create. Inks, (Bee Sting and Love struck). Next, I used some Red Chroma Glaze just on the center of the flower. Once the glaze was set (about 30 mins to an hour) I ran the panel through my die cut machine with a stitched die. I used another stitched die for the red mat panel.
For my sentiment, I stamped the Merry Christmas from Occasional Greeting Stamp Set with Embossing Ink and covered it with Christmas Eve Embossing Powder.
For a little sparkle, I lightly sprayed the panel with some Pixie Spray and then used a scrap of Gold Shattered Glass Foil in a pouncing motion to stick some of the foil to the Pixie Spray. Finally, I added the entire thing to a white A2 card base.
