Monster Birthday Card with Foil
Hey crafty friends! Lauren here, sharing this foiled birthday card. I have a serious lack of stamps and cards that are a little more gender neutral; most of my stash has a lot of bling or sparkle or sequins! The foil is a perfect way to add cool shine to your cards for those people in your life that just aren't into the frills or sparkles. If you didn't catch the Inspiration Team's foil-themed blog hop earlier this week, be sure to check it out because WOW there were some cool projects!
For this card, I started by stamping the monsters with Raven detail ink and coloring them with my copics. They're so cute! I added a few little touches with a white gel pen, fussy cut around them and set them aside. I cut a piece of the new toner sheet pattern called "Paint Brushed", and ran it through my laminator with the green sketch foil. I die cut a frame from Raven cardstock, and adhered the monsters to the back of the frame. Then I lined the back of the frame and the monsters with foam tape, and placed it on top of the foiled panel.
Using embossing ink, I stamped the sentiment onto Raven cardstock and covered it with Alabaster EP. I fussy cut the sentiment and glued it to the frame to finish off the card.
