Hey everyone!
It's Jessica. Today I have a card using one of the newer samp sets,
Love you Floral. This image is down right gorgeous! I really was inspired to color it with some Copic Markers. I'll have the colors I used listed below.
Once I was done coloring I trimmed the panel down to 4in x 5.25in, then used some purple tape to hold the
Stencil of the Month for January over the top. I used just one corner of this beautiful lacy intricate stencil to add some Glitter Glaze in
Fallen Snow over the blue areas in each corner. I love how this turned out! I also moved the stencil over top parts of the flower coloring and spread on a bit more of the Fallen Snow Glitter Glaze through the stencil, using less then the parts on the blue corners. At first the Glitter Glaze has a white tint to it but it does dry down to a clear and the lovely sparkle flakes are what is left. Make sure to clean up your tools before the glitter glaze drys on them!
I set the panel aside to dry then heat embossed the sentiment. I decided to use the lovely sentiment "You're gonna make it." Those are words that I can use for cards and send to others quite frequently through out the year. Great for encouragement cards. I used Alabaster embossing powder on top of the Raven card stock. I also fussy cut the sentiment down and used some dimensional adhesive foam to pop it up in the center of the floral panel.
The card base is a standard A2 size and made from Not Your Momma's heavy weight card stock.
