This month's Inspiration Box is MY JAM!! I love a great rainbow set and this Radiant Rainbow set is a keeper! Come with me as I make this colorful card...
Using a piece of Not Your Mama’s Cardstock and your Stick and Stamp mat, lay the Painted Rainbow Stencil on the card front. I like to mask over the fold of the card so as to not make a mess. Then, use masking tape or Post-it tape to isolate every section of the stencil. Use your choice of inks to color each section. This stencil would look great in all the same color, alternating colors or rainbow, like I chose. You could even spray each section with Chroma Mist (….off to try!!)
Next, stamp the heart stamp from the Radiant Rainbow set (I cut off that little dot---you know you can alter your stamps, right?) in Raven Ink. I did this in my Misti so I could stamp over the Raven ink with Clear Embossing ink as to emboss with the AMAZING Rainbow Sparkle embossing powder.
Then the rest is just assembly. I cut out the hearts and extras for stacking using the coordinating dies (don't forget to remove that little dot). I like to stack extra diecuts for dimension on smaller images, instead of using foam tape. A few sequins from the kit and a Conversation Clippings and this card is done!
I'd love to see how you use this fantastic stencil! Tag me on Instagram @katedeignancards and make sure you follow @brutusmonroe to see all of the great samples using this Inspiration Box.
