Stamped Scene Home Sweet Home
Going out of town may be fun but coming home arriving at home is the best feeling. Today I want to share the stamped scene home sweet home with you.
When the new stamps arrived and the Home Sweet Home set was in there I knew it would be a great set to play with. Don't you just love that feeling of coming home after a long trip? Well sending a card to someone who has been gone will also make them feel welcome.
For this card the following items were used:
Home Sweet Home Stamp set
Little Monster Stamp Set
Brutus Monroe Detail Ink Raven
Brutus Monroe Ink: Jurassic, Sea, Cabbage, Wagon
Stampendous Green Pastures
Comotion Rubber Stamps Pine Trees
Tim Holts Distressing tool
Spellbinders Circle Die
White Card Stock
Water Color pencils
Water brush
Select one the houses and stamp with Brutus Monroe Detail Ink - Raven. Color with water color pencils and then fussy cut.
Cut and emboss the circle in the front panel of the card. On a second slightly smaller panel trace a light pencil circle to indicate where to place the stamped scene.
Stamp the green Pastures with Cabbage ink several times in the lower portion of the circle area.
Ink the Pine trees with Jurassic ink and stamp multiple times on the left side to give a look of a forest edge.
Use Tim Holts Blending tool and apply Cabbage ink to the grass area and Sea ink to the sky area.
From the Little Monster stamp set use the heart inked with Wagon ink on a scrap of card stock. Fussy cut the heart and attach a pop dot.
On the front panel just below the circle place the heart. Below the heart stamp "Home Sweet Home in Brutus Monroe Detail Ink - Raven. Attach house to the circle panel with Glue Dot Tape Runner.
Use the Brutus Monroe Detail Ink - Raven and give an edge to the circle panel. Attach circle panel to the scene panel and both panels to a standard A2 greeting card.
