Swimming Along
With more and more restrictions being lifted, I am dreaming of a trip to the beach. I decided to scrapbook a beach photo, which is the next best thing!
I decided to go with a 6 x 12 layout since I already have so many photos from the same trip. The June Stamp of the Month was perfect for this photo of my daughter and my husband standing at the water’s edge. To create this page, I used Blueberry Bushel and Midnight Indigo Velveteen glaze through the June Stencil of the Month Then, I matted my photo on black Cardstock and a beautiful blue wood grain from the Weathered Wood Paper Collection Pack I stamped out the stencil and colored it in using some markers. I fussy cut it out and then popped it up over a tag made with the Mermaid Skin Specialty Paper I stamped the sentiment and cut it into a banner shape and layered that over some tags tucked above the photo. I added a title—simply Us—, a few word stickers, and some bows in the tags. Totally feeling the beach vibes!
