Thank you berry much!
Hey everyone! It's Jessica. I'm back today with this Thank you card using the Berry Special stamp set. I decided to do some Copic coloring using these detailed fruits. I still can't get over how pretty this stencil is from last month (January) but the February one is perfect for this design too. I love the doily texture these stencils can add to a project.
I started with stamping the berries out each image multiple times then colored them with Copic markers. I have the list of colors I used down below. Each fruit and bunch leaves is fussy cut out and then I ink the edges with a black marker.
For the background I used a blending brush and a black Distress Oxide ink to add in the texture of the January stencil. I trimmed that panel down when after inking then added it to a Raven A2 card stock panel. This is then Adhered to a card base. I also took a scrap piece of Raven card stock and used a circle die from my stash to die cut it. This is where I heat embossed the sentiment from the Berry Special stamp set that says, Thank you berry much.
After adhering the sentiment to the card front I trimmed down the over hand of the die cut circle with scissors.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I'm sad to say that this is my last official post as a design team member! I had so much for fun though being on this team and I can't way to see what the new team creates!
