The Embellished Giraffe Part 1
Brutus Monroe has recently partnered with The Embellished Giraffe and we are very excited to share their innovated scrap booking system. During the month of September every Monday we will showcase how we at Brutus Monroe have used this unique scrap booking system.
The system includes pages that are side loaded with an edge that overlaps whereby sealing all scrapbooking inside. What makes this system even more special is the Velcro on each page so they are easily attached to one another without the hassle of pegs and screws to assemble. Each book can hold thirty sleeves or sixty scrapbook pages. These sleeves are large enough to hold the most thickly embellished pages (and we at Brutus Monroe intend to take advantage of this feature).
The first scrapbook layout has a Hawaiian theme. To enhance the feel of the islands I colored a Brutus Monroe vintage textile 12x12 sheet with Copic markers. I then cut out the design to make a focal medallion.
Look at how nicely the page fits into the sleeve even with multi layers. The photo is on a layer of card stock on a layer of cork from DCWV with layers of flowers and leaves on top of foam dots. All this was set on top of a texture paste design.
We are very excited to have this opportunity to showcase this creative product that memory keepers are going to love.
