Hello everyone! This week we are creating projects focused on kids. I wanted to create something with a fun Halloween theme and decided on a treat bag.
For this fun project I lined a cello bag with a piece of Halloween paper to create a background.
Using the
Rockstar Pets stamp set (cat), I stamped the cat onto cardstock using
Raven Detail Ink and then colored using alcohol markers. I fussy cut him and set aside. Next I used the August Stamp of the month (jack-o-lantern) and followed the same steps as the cat.
Who doesn't love tricks and treats together? I decided to turn the kitty into a trickster by removing the hat from the stamped jack-o-lantern and putting it on him. He stole it!
To finish off my treat bag, I adhered my stamped images to the front, filled it to the brim with treats, and added a topper using score tape to seal it.
This was super fun and will make a great little surprise for my grandkids!
Thanks so much much for visiting the blog and viewing my project today!
As always, have an amazing crafty day!
Happy Halloween!
Jen
