Watercolor Mushrooms
This card is a simple way to create a colorful card to brighten anyone's day. Mushroom Garden is a fun stamp set with a variety of different mushroom images and sentiments. I wanted to find a way to use several of the images. First I stamped several of the mushrooms across the middle of a piece of aqua pigment with Embossing Ink. I heat embossed with Raven embossing powder. 
Next I used my Stick & Stamp Pigment Palette for my Aqua Pigments. I put out the colors of the rainbow.
Then with a wet brush, I washed water horizontally across the middle section of the card (right over the embossed mushrooms). Then I went in with each color of Aqua Pigment to make the rainbow, cleaning my brush between each color. The water that was there from the initial wash allowed the colors to blend together naturally.
Once it was dry, I used a white gel pen to add some highlights to the mushrooms. Then I stamped one of the sentiments in the bottom right corner. Before attaching this to a blank card, I mounted it on a black cardstock layer and added a few enamel dots.
This is an easy technique that gives a bright pop of color. You can find these stamps and a wide variety of Aqua Pigment colors in the online store.
