Hey everyone! Today I'm making a window card using the Fall Ya'll wreath and the gorgeous Penny embossing powder. I was totally inspired by a photo my sister posted on Instagram. I'll have that in my
Instagram stories if you want to take a look.
To get started I stamped the Fall Ya'll wreath on to some white cardstock and colored in the image with Copic Markers.
Orange YR04, YR82, Ell
Green YG41, G14, G43, G40
Teal BG78, BG75, BG72
Yellow Y21, Y13, Y00
Gray W6, W3, W1
I also outlined the entire image with the W1 Copic marker. To cut out the center I used a craft knife to make my first cut in the center then used scissors to cut pieces, like a pizza. I think that helps to make center cuts easier, especially circular ones.
I used a circle die to cut the hole in a A2 size card base. Then added a layer of Brutus Monroe Sidewalk card stock to the inside.
For the embossing I used the Fall Ya'll wreath stamp again and stamped it with Brutus Monroe Embossing Ink in all four corners. Using the B|M Magic Powder Bag and the Penny embossing powder. That embossing powder added a lovely copper tone to this card, which I love with the colors of the wreath.
I trimmed the wreath panel down then adhered it to the front of the card base with the circle die cut lining up but cut outs as best as possible. I used the liquid Craft Glue to adhere that down that way I had a bit of time to straighten it.
After that I traced the circle on to the inside Sidewalk card stock and stamped the Thank you Tons sentiment from Super Sentimental, with the same Penny embossing powder. Window cards are so fun to make. I love how you can see the inside sentiment on the outside.
That's it for this card and me today! Thank you so much for joining me.
