Hello everyone! Have you seen the amazing DIe of the month for November? It is just beautiful and so intricate plus it comes as a set of 5 dies in total! A great value for sure!
For my project, I have created a pretty Anniversary card in a gatefold style using this die set along with patterned papers and black, red, and cream cardstocks.
Beginning with the die cuts, I cut the main
flowered heart die from both the red and black cardstock and adhered them together a bit offset so the red acts as a shadow under the black. Next I cut the skeleton leaf die using black cardstock as well as the flowers and also cut the flowers from coordinating patterned papers.
To create the base of my card I cut a sheet of cream cardstock to 5" X 11", placed it on my scoring board lengthwise and scored at 3" and 8".
The red is a strip of cardstock 2" X 11" also scored at 3" and 8" to create a band on the outside. Patterned paper was added to the gates as well as black followed by the red band and a strip of ivory ribbon and then a strip of thin black ribbon that will create a tie to hold the card closed. I have added the same patterned paper to the inside of the card along with red mat and a sentiment cut from the papers. Two of the floral die cuts were added to each corner.
To complete my card I built up the front with the remaining die cuts, some flowers, and a sentiment!
Thanks So much for visiting the blog today and viewing my project!
As always have an amazing crafty day!
Jenn
