Hi there! Kate, here...
I don't know about you, but I'm a bit sick of holly, snowflakes, stockings and red and green! So, I figured I'd share some happy, cheery cards with you today, using a stamp set with endless possibilities.
The
Rainbow Builder set has been on my desk for some time now. I usually leave out sets with a sticky note attached so I can look at them and jot down ideas when they come to me. Also, on my desk is a bag of googlie eyes (yes, I'm a former Pre-K teacher so I have lots of crafty supplies all over the place!) I just knew the eyes and one of the curves would make some cute happy faces!
I took a panel of
Alabaster cardstock and used my
Distress Oxide Inks to blend a colorful panel. Then, I took one of the rainbow arches and stamped lots of smiles all over the panel in
Raven Ink (make sure you leave room for eyes). You can use the same smile or a variety of arches. Then, just
glue down some eyes. The
Conversation Clippings make easy sentiments for the cards.
This Rainbow Builder set has lots of possible images too. Don't overlook the little stamps for confetti, suns, waves and even watermelons! I used my stamping platform to help line up the inside of the melons and used a thin black pen to color in the seeds!
